Agatha Christie's Hjerson

Former detective, Hjerson’s mother has just died. He boards a ferry to his hometown where he meets Klara, a TV producer. A mysterious murder occurs aboard the vessel and the unlikely pair launch an investigation.

Much to the ferry crew’s displeasure, Hjerson and Klara continue to investigate the mysterious murder of a passenger. Just as they settle in on a prime suspect, a tragic event throws Hjerson and Klara off course.

On the beach in Hjerson’s hometown, a man donning a chicken costume has been brutally beaten and then suddenly disappears. Hjerson and Klara follow tracks to a location that brings back distant memories for Hjerson.

While heading for a peaceful swim, Hjerson finds himself in terrible danger. As the search for the beach suspect intensifies, the case also becomes increasingly personal for Hjerson.

An unpublished novel inspires a copycat murder at a restaurant. Only five people, including the author, have read the work– so it must be an inside job. Or is it? The author contacts Hjerson and Klara to crack the case.
