Anna returns home, the young Vronsky following behind in hope to win her over; only to realize she's devoted to her husband and family. In time, romance buds between the young Vronsky and Anna.

The General visits the encampment to visit the injured Colonel Vronsky. Anna dreams the circumstances of her death will have to do with childbirth. Anna's husband, plans to take off for Moscow. On what seems to be Anna's deathbed, she is forgiven by her husband, but loses Vronsky.
