Steve's long-running attempts to dump his girlfriend Jane are constantly thwarted by his 'accidental' tendency to keep having sex with her. Meanwhile, Patrick is also trying to dump Susan, but she humiliates him by saying she didn't really think they were actually going out together.

Sally regrets turning down a date with Patrick after an eye-popping revelation from Susan. Steve is now feeling a little intimidated after hearing this and it's up to Susan to put him at ease.

The attendance at the funeral of Jane's aunt snowballs as the friends arrange decoy dates. Meanwhile, Jeff fights interview anxiety by imagining everyone naked.

Steve worries that Susan has discovered a compromising tape in his video library. Then when Susan invites everyone over for a dinner party they all start talking about the tape and Steve finds himself in a hell of his own making.

The lads can't take their eyes off a beautiful stranger in their local bar, and she can't take her eyes off Jeff. He goes over to talk to her, only to discover that she doesn't speak a word of English. Jeff manages to crash head first into the language barrier.

When Jane goes round to Patrick's flat unannounced to heal their 'spiritual divide', she makes an alarming discovery about the contents of his cupboard. Patrick has a secret collection of very intimate homemade videos. Susan visits Patrick to ask him never to show 'her' film to anyone, but it's already too late.
