Dance Moms: A New Era

A new era of Dance Moms begins as Glo Hampton, of Studio Bleu, takes on the challenge of coaching the next generation of a Junior Elite Competition Team. With pressure from Glo, their mothers, and the dance world, will the debut of these seven young dancers shatter expectations, or shatter their dreams?

Reeling from their 6th place loss, the team focuses all their energy on an emotional group dance, and Glo brings in a Medium to inspire the girls. But, when several shocking revelations surface, winning becomes even more important. Chaos ensues at competition when new mom Corrine realizes messing with queen bee Tammi was more like kicking a hornet's nest.

When Glo gambles on putting Audrey on pointe in a difficult ballet routine, no one can predict the shockingly unlucky turn of events at competition. Meanwhile, Ashlan is assigned a solo to defend her spot on the team.

After Audrey gets benched for her alleged injury, Tammi ghosts the team. Spiraling from their absence, Glo considers bringing in a new dancer, sparking fear throughout the studio. Meanwhile, longtime rivals Domenica and Roxce go head-to-head with both their daughters' trios, and each other.

Recovered from her injury, Audrey gets a solo, but her plan to reclaim her top spot is jeopardized when Glo brings in new dancer Gina. Emotions run high after Glo cuts a dancer from the group dance, and everyone blames new mom Jing. Meanwhile, Mina is forced to grow up and say goodbye to her best friend.

With Nationals on her mind, Glo decides to make Gina a member of the team and cut anyone who isn't delivering, leaving the moms on edge about who will be on the chopping block. Smiley and Leilah land at the bottom of the pyramid and are pitted against each other with solos to prove they have what it takes to be part of the team at nationals. The stress of the dance competition causes Ashlan to reach a breaking point.
