Dead Man's Gun

An egotistical, womanizing performer in an 1870's traveling show believes his destiny is forever changed when he buys a unique gun that turns him into an expert marksman. Eager to capitalize on his new talents, he abandons his wife and turns his back on his employer. Venturing out on his own, he realizes too late that the very thing that granted him success also has the power to take it away.

A ruthless con man and petty thief arrives in a wild west town where he steals The Dead Man's gun and discovers it brings him good luck. An alluring saloon girl introduces him to a naive farmer whom he cons into buying a worthless mine after convincing him it is filled with gold. His good fortune, however, is fleeting when he becomes the victim of a con and ends up in a deadly showdown.

A young man in the American wild west finds a fancy gun on a dead man and claims it as his own, against the advice of his older brother. The gun gives him a new sense of confidence, transforming him from an easy-going trail hand into a feared gunslinger, leading to a climatctic showdown where one man will pay for another's transgressions.

Leo Sunshine is a meek salesman whose life changes when he stumbles upon the body of a well-dressed dead man. He realizes how easy it would be to assume his identity and carve out a better life for himself. He soon discovers, however, that he is the new marshal in a lawless town that has been anxiously awaiting his arrival.

Samuel Roller and Theodore Claxton are crooked undertakers who pirate valuables from deceased customers. The partners steal the Dead Man's Gun and business takes a downturn. People have stopped dying. The partners decide to create sufficent trouble to have the buryin' business pick up again.

The owner of a rooming house steals the Dead Man's Gun from one of his boarders and becomes a wealthy highwayman. He soon learns, however, that when something comes free and easy, the results could be costly, if not deadly.
