Expedition Volcano

Deep in the African Congo is one of the most dangerous volcanoes on Earth; Nyiragongo. An international team of scientists spends a week camping next to its lava lake to find out when it will next erupt - before it devastates the nearby city of Goma for the third time in fifty years.

[Final Episode] The team heads to one of Nyiragongo's neighbouring volcanoes - Nyamulagira - to find out how the region's volcanic forces affect every aspect of life. Arriving by UN helicopter, they must avoid ground fire from criminal gangs and militia in order to get to the crater as quickly as possible.
