After three weeks in California, Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys return to the comforts of home. Their homecoming brings a visit from the cross-state Texans for preseason game No. 3.

The Texas heat is brutal as both the oppressive weather and impending roster cuts create tension on the practice field; the players get an opportunity to bond at a backyard barbeque hosted by rookie LB Micah Parsons.
