Scott has drawn 100 Heroes in 100 comic books. When he disappears, only his books remain, and they get scattered all over San Francisco. Scott's Heroes pop out when the book owners call them out, and strange events begin to happen.

When Mike buys a strange comic book titled "Crying Man," he discovers he has the ability to summon the Hero from the comic book into reality by saying the name of the hero out loud.

Boastful superhero Black Knight sneaks into a house to acquire a Hero Book but accidentally starts a fire. Mike and Crying Man, try to rescue a girl trapped in the house but end up facing a dangerous predicament.
