In the early 1990s, the controversial pop star Yoo Hyun Jae (Yoon Si Yoon) is at the peak of his fame as one half of the chart-topping “first-generation” K-pop act J2. But his life is thrown into disarray when he accidentally travels forward in time! He finds life in 2017 almost impossible to adjust to, until he finds his former manager (Cha Tae Hyun) – and meets the manager’s son Lee Ji Hoon (Kim Min Jae). Together with his lifelong friend Choi Woon Seung (Lee Se Young), Ji Hoon is preparing to take the civil service exam, but he is also secretly training to become a K-pop star. Can this motley crew help each other to achieve their goals – and will the journey lead them to a remarkable discovery about Hyun Jae’s true identity?
