Lauren Caspian is the third-most popular radio host for NPR (National Public Radio) and a well-meaning yet hypocritical nitwit puppet. He relies on a diverse crew of puppet staff including co-executive producer Barb, sound engineer Carl, fact checker and researcher Fabian, cultural critic Sandy and college intern Chase. With the help of his staff, Lauren conducts in-depth interviews with real-world human celebrities and, despite his salacious attitude towards interviews, somehow manages to elicit insightful and surprising answers from his guests.
