Kuma, La Otra Esposa

In Cappadocia, Ceylan visits her mother's grave, recalling the stories her mother used to tell her about destined love. At the same time, Karan returns after years abroad to visit his father's grave. Their paths cross.

Ceylan is forced to become engaged to Bedo, an older, married man, as part of a deal to settle her father's debts. Humiliated and desperate, she tries to run away with her brother's help, while Karan searches for her without knowing who she is.

Ceylan takes refuge in Karan's villa after escaping from her father. He offers her protection, care... and love. The two attend a wedding where Karan introduces her as the woman he wants to spend his life with.

After being expelled by Kudret, Karan's mother, Ceylan discovers that Kudret hates her mother for having had a relationship with Karan's father. Despite this, Karan decides to go through with the marriage in secret.

Ceylan is kidnapped and forcibly handed over to Bedo, an older man to whom her father has betrothed her to settle a debt. Karan discovers the betrayal of his mother Kudret and Sema, who orchestrated everything to separate him from Ceylan.

Ceylan manages to escape from Bedo and runs to find Karan. Meanwhile, Salih tries to meet with Yakup to reconcile the two families but falls victim to an ambush. Seriously wounded, he manages to point out Ceylan just before dying.
