The Legend of Dugu

In the tumultuous era of the Northern and Southern dynasties, three Dugu sisters—Dugu Banruo (Ady An), Dugu Mantuo (Li Yi Xiao), and Dugu Jialou (Hu Bing Qing)—are bound by a prophecy: "He who has Dugu, has the world". Daughters of a court official, they grow up with beauty, intelligence, and a vow to remain loyal. As time passes, their paths diverge dramatically. Banruo becomes an ambitious woman determined to become empress at any cost, Mantuo seeks wealth and power to escape her lowly birth, and Jialou remains a gentle, peace-loving scholar. Caught in a web of political intrigue and power struggles, the sisters find themselves at the center of historical upheaval that will forever change their lives and the fate of their world. This is a 2018 historical fiction drama directed by Hou Shu Pei and Lan Zhi Wei.
