Esteban declares on the news that if he becomes a senator he will put an end to drug trafficking. The guerrillas use Francisca's house to attend to an important commander and assassinate her husband.

Alberto puts cameras in Mauricio's flat to record him and Esteban so he can blackmail them. Alberto tells Esteban that he has to get married to improve his political career. Roberto gets Francisca a job growing cocaine.

Francisca and Roberto complain to their boss for wanting to pay them less. Pedro asks Homero what relationship he has with Gustavo and the Colombians.

Gustavo visits Esteban to offer his support for his campaign, but he refuses to do business with drug traffickers. Francisca finds the bodies of Roberto and his family.

Alberto tells Esteban that he received a video of him being intimate with Mauricio. Francisca loses all the cocaine seeds in the river. Gustavo orders his men to beat Mauricio so that Esteban will agree to work with him.

Gustavo's men kidnap Alejandro and Esteban. Esteban declares on the radio that he wants to negotiate with the drug traffickers so that Gustavo won't hurt Mauricio.
