Lah-Lah receives a phone call -the band is invited to play at a concert-TODAY! They have to quickly figure out what song to play. But Lah-Lah and Buzz have very different ideas. Lah-Lah wants to sing a high song, Buzz wants to do something low. On the bus they meet James, who plays both high and low notes on his Trombone.

Mister Saxophone has gone missing at rehearsal time. They can hear him but they just can't find him! Mister Saxophone loves to play hide and seek. They set off to find him but everywhere they turn up, he's just left. They decide to take the bus home and bump into Stephan who shows them loud and soft sounds on his baritone saxophone. Lah-Lah has a great idea to lure Mister Saxophone back.

Lah-Lah is on her balcony watering her flowers when she gets a call to go over to the band's house. Lah-Lah arrives to find Squeezy Sneezy having a sneeze attack. Lah-Lah takes charge; Squeezy Sneezy obviously has a cold. They give him a blanket and soup, even a beanie to keep his head warm.

Lah-Lah has a new dance but she can't quite get the ending right. The band offers suggestions but they all just look too silly. Maybe she needs to take a real dance lesson? Along the way to the lesson they meet Carlos who plays the guiro and they all learn the samba beat. Playing the samba fast and slow might help Lah-Lah finally learn her new dance!
