Slim Sherman stumbles upon murder victim Hap Matthews and ends up getting shot by the murderer and left to die. Jess Harper saves his partner and ends up trailing the suspect to the town of Rimrock.

Cory Lake is the half-heir to a large ranch that he wishes to give to his mother's Cheyenne people, much to the disgust of his uncle and cousins.

Slim Sherman is hired to take Professor Landfield into the badlands to hunt for gold. Slim doesn't know that the professor is really Morgan Bennett, member of the Plummer gang who's escaped from prison.

The Cady brothers have vowed revenge against an Arapaho woman, Winona, who was acquitted of murdering their brother. Slim Sherman gets involved when he rescues Winona from certain death at the brothers' hands.

Jess Harper is on his way back to Laramie after negotiating a large sale of cattle when his horse is stolen. Left afoot, the angry cowboy trails both horse and thief to Dry Springs.

Slim has been chasing down and finally corners a cattle rustler. Slim is wounded during the shootout but still manages to capture the rustler - a beautiful girl named Jean Lavelle.
