Lyndey Milan's Taste of Australia

As the snow melts in summer there's a plethora of rich produce and stunning green landscapes. Lyndey visits Wild Brumby Schnapps garden and distillery for a fiery tasting before she creates a heavenly apple cake. A fishing expedition for Murray Cod under the shadow of Blowering Dam, provides comedy but no fish though Lyndey creates a dish with a nod to the Italians.

Under the shadow of the grand chancellery at Armidale University, Lyndey cooks an Aussie classic, de-constructed Peach Melba. She then stops by at award-winning Milly Hill lamb; a family run business that is changing the face of sheep farming. Unusually she poaches some in vine leaves picked at historic Petersons guesthouse.

Autumn makes a stunning backdrop in the Adelaide Hills at Nepenthe where Lyndey goes Spanish with a tempting tapas plate to match three modern wines.

Lyndey arrives by chopper at Borrodell Orange's highest winery for the annual winter "gum-boot & truffle" hunt and dinner, creating one of the courses.

It's early morning hustle and bustle in the huge produce sheds at Flemington markets before a trip to designer store of new-age butcher, Victor Churchill. Here top class meat catches the eye of celebrity chef Neil Perry. He and Lyndey cook a BBQ on the shores of Sydney harbour then it's the happiest pig farm on earth and Lyndey creates a mouth-watering perfect pork steak as the sun sets.

Lyndey opens the show riding a camel on windswept Lighthouse Beach and then drops in on Ricardos Tomatoes to see the workings of an integrated farm gate and tourist attraction.
