Pratima, a sorrowful mother, lives in perpetual regret over losing her daughter, Pari. Meanwhile, unaware of her mother's turmoil, Pari is growing up in the slum.

Pari learns that one of her friends and his mother has not eaten anything for days and decides to cook for them. However, she gets caught by her mother.

Pari makes Phool happy by bringing home a lot of money. Later, Hira visits them to collect the payment and warns Phool to keep Pari from helping anybody.

Manish's elder brother sends his wife to the theatre for Pratima's arrival. Later, Pratima comes back to the Mukherjee house to speak about Atish and Anu's wedding.

When Anu's father arrives to finalise her wedding with Atish, Pratima raises objections. Meanwhile, Jhilli and her friends visit Hira Amma's house at midnight.

After finding her money missing from the safe, Hira suspects Kalua of stealing. However, Kalua tries to convince her that Jhilik stole the money.
