Médicos takes place in the renound Instituto de Especialidades Médicas de Méxicoand its managed by idealist Gonzalo Olmedo, whose mission is to hire the most competent doctors in the country.
EPISODE 1
Terrible accidente
Due to the lack of supplies, Gonzalo cannot attend to one of the children from the school bus accident, unaware that Rene and Mireya are involved in the sale of medical supplies. Due to Lara's poor decision, one of the children dies.
EPISODE 2
Ruptura interna
Lara is shot and dies in the operating room. The hospital is at risk of receiving a lawsuit and Rene refuses to help the mother of the dead child. The Board of Trustees designates Gonzalo as the new director of the hospital.

The Board accepts Gonzalo's terms as the new director of the hospital, despite Rene's refusals. Gonzalo offers Ana residents as support for her area. Regina and David find out several people affected by a gas leak.

Gonzalo designates Regina as the new emergency chief. Rene tries to turn Ana into his ally against Gonzalo, but she resists. Susana, tired of Luis's absence, asks him to decide between his family or his job.

Arturo hesitates to accept living with Cecilia. Rafael performs a procedure under the influence of drugs and causes an accident. Ana and Regina have a confrontation regarding the distribution of staff.

Doloroso engaño
Regina cannot forgive Sergio for finding him in bed with his partner and his wife. Cecilia asks Arturo to understand how lonely she feels and asks him not to leave her. Residents have their first day at the hospital and Regina assigns them to a doctor.
