Moonshine

Amidst strict alcohol prohibition rules in the Joseon Dynasty, inspector Nam Young (Yoo Seung Ho) is tasked with cracking down on illegal alcohol production. His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Kang Ro Seo (Lee Hye Ri), a spirited and resourceful young woman who secretly brews and sells moonshine to support her impoverished family. Driven by necessity, Ro Seo cleverly evades the authorities, often outwitting Nam Young at every turn. Nam Young initially sees her as just a criminal, but as they continue to cross paths, his feelings toward her begin to change. Will Nam Young put aside his professional duties for the pursuit of love?
