Murder Call

Robin Cochrane is a celebrity sportsman loved by the public and poisoned by one of his family. Tessa and Steve uncover the private side of Robin Cochrane which is far removed from his public persona. Tessa realises something happened on the night Robin was murdered, something which made one of the household lose all sense of logic.

A paraplegic is beaten to death in his home and Tessa and Steve connect the murder to other unsolved murders which have recently occurred. The common link is a dice left at each crime scene and all the victims played games on the Internet. While Steve and Tessa try to track down the serial killer with the help of a computer whizz. Dee enters into a dangerous game of her own on the Internet.

A man is found dead buried up to his neck in the sand. It looks like a beach party game gone wrong. Another man is found dead, badly decomposed in his bed. Steve discovers a connection between the two victims while comforting one of the grieving women. At the time Tessa figures out the identity of the killer, Steve has found himself in a life-threatening situation.

Murder strikes a local community with a series of young women found dead with their bodies scrubbed clean. The killer leaves gardenias as a calling card. Tessa and Steve's investigations leads them to the local community drop-in centre. Steve's new girlfriend becomes involved in the investigation when one of her friend becomes a victim.
