Eight contestants face off in the kitchen to show their pastry skills.
The participants are given two cakes that they must decorate with meringue and flowers, imitating the style of the famous Mexican store, Sanborns.
The participants are divided into pairs, and they have to prepare a collection of cupcakes inspired by fashion.
They bakers must make kingcakes, a perfect imitation of the one from Sanborns, using the dough and supplies provided.
The bakers will have to make a high-level cuisine dessert which must look great so it can be photographed for a food magazine.
The finalists prepare a table of different desserts for Buddy to try and choose new flavors for his pastry.
