Ocean Treks With Jeff Corwin

Jeff visits the picturesque New England town of Bar Harbor to learn the ways of catching and preparing authentic Maine lobster. Then, adventure awaits in luscious Acadia National Park where Jeff attempts to scale Cadillac Mountain.

Jeff arrives in the salmon capital of the world where he embarks on a mission to catch the king of all salmon: The Chinook. Then later, the rich Native American heritage of Ketchikan is brought to life as Jeff learns the art of totem pole carving.

Jeff treks to majestic Mendenhall Glacier, but to get there, he must kayak through the Alaskan wilderness. While the ice caves offer natural beauty, caves of a different sort offer precious treasure, as Jeff attempts to strike it rich in a gold mine.

Jeff explores Whistler and gets a taste of gold medal action on a bobsled. Then, it’s on to Mount Whistler where Jeff must overcome the elements in order to make a 7,000-foot vertical ascent using a technique known as “Via Ferrata”.

Jeff learns the art of dog sledding and how it helped adventurers travel during harsh winters. Then, after taking a ride aboard the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, Jeff communes with Alaska's majestic wildlife at an animal sanctuary.

Jeff cruises to the Dominican Republic and explores the majestic 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua. After taking the plunge in this tropical gem, he delves into the ancient caves of El Choco National Park and finds artifacts thousands of years in the making.
