Several plucky filmmakers trek across the globe to explore often-dangerous locations where human nature crosses paths with savage animal instinct -- with a totally unpredictable outcome. The emphasis of this series, however, is on the importance of conserving and preserving the dwindling patches of the dirty and sometimes treacherous place we call "nature."
