Saki, not knowing anything, is taken to the mahjong club. There was Nodoka whom she had met by the stream bank. Nodoka came out victorious this round, but intrigued by Saki’s method, she asks for another round.

Saki, rather than win, exercises difficult moves. Hisa has a proposal, which is a match to test Saki’s potential. As he had expected, Saki exhibits incredible abilities. But Nodoka sees this and becomes emotional.

Nodoka feels negative about the way Saki plays with everybody. When the feeling becomes conviction, Nodoka finally explodes. Meanwhile, Hisashi and Mako enter the place of the regional high school mahjong championship.

The regional high school mahjong championship draws near. Meanwhile, Saki and Nodoka help at Mako’s parent’s store. Hisa says social experience is part of training, but she has ulterior motives.

A training camp is established to get past the regional semi-finals. Hot baths and good food are to be enjoyed, but Saki and Yuki train hard. Nodoka’s training started as something Hisa casually thought of; to play in embarrassing postures.

The Regional has finally begun with many strong contenders to watch out. As the excitement boils up, Saki gets lost at the venue.
