SOS: Extreme Rescue

Three emergencies collide in the mountains of North Wales, England; a young hiker is stranded on an icy ledge on Tryfan with no way down; search teams comb fog-smothered terrain hunting for walkers who have disappeared; as temperatures soar on the hottest day of the year, a man shows signs of heatstroke after pushing too far on a mountain climb.

Summer brings the crowds and the chaos. A power kiter is badly injured on the rocks and the rising tide is moving fast, turning a rescue into a countdown. Across the region, a freak storm sweeps in without warning, blocking an ambulance racing to a serious medical emergency with no clear detour. North Wales draws millions of visitors every year but today its beauty comes with a brutal price. The teams are stretched, the clock is ticking, and there is no room for delay.
