SOS: Extreme Rescue

A woman making a final, heartfelt trip to scatter her father's ashes on a notoriously difficult peak loses her footing and falls. Deep in dense forest, an elderly man with dementia has wandered away from safety with no idea where he is or how to get back. And on a steep, unforgiving mountainside, rescuers battle exhaustion to stretcher a seriously injured teenager to safety over rough and dangerous ground. Three desperate situations and every one of them personal.

A climber lies injured on a ledge so narrow there is almost nowhere to stand, and sheer drops on every side mean that moving him incorrectly can be fatal; the team must find a way to stabilize, treat and evacuate him from a dangerous location.

A gas explosion rips through a busy marina, sending emergency teams converging from across the region in a desperate race to find survivors; fires burn across the site, structures are unstable, and the risk of a secondary explosion keeps the pressur.
