Stella Blomkvist

Stella tries to help a young Syrian refugee girl who is on the run after being imprisoned. As she digs deeper into the case, she uncovers a human trafficking ring that seems to have connections within the police force. Before long Stella faces a dangerous new enemy who will do anything to silence her and the investigation.

Gunna has become a recluse after her traumatic run-in with the Chinese and is wasting away at home watching influencers online. When one of the influencers, Alba Von, appears to commit suicide while streaming, Stella’s curiosity is piqued and slowly she begins to suspect that the two cases might be connected.

Stella takes on the case of Nadeem, a young Palestinian poet and asylum seeker, who is accused of murdering a visiting governmental official from Israel. When an attempt is made on the life of prime minister Dagbjört, Stella gets dragged into solving the case against her will. But Dagbjört’s enemies are powerful, and to save her, and herself, Stella has to figure out who is behind the attempted assassination. And perhaps stop a bold and ruthless coup d’état.
