Tian Tian, a recent college graduate, struggles to move forward after failing to secure a spot at a foreign design school. She works at her parents’ ice cream shop while preparing for the exam. One day, she’s struck by a malfunctioning aircraft and meets Su Mu, a meticulous designer. Their paths keep crossing, but every encounter brings her bad luck.

Tian Tian thought Su Mu was a stalker after their awkward first encounter on her balcony. However, she later discovered he was her new neighbor. After accidentally damaging his aircraft, she offered compensation, but he walked away. Su Mu, seeking comfort, visited her ice cream shop. Tian Tian mistook his visit as trouble-seeking and gave him a half-hearted ice cream.

Su Mu’s aircraft crash led to a promise from Tian Tian to teach him how to make ice cream as compensation. However, Tian Tian was late the next morning due to insomnia. Su Mu tried to make the ice cream himself but wasn’t satisfied. He asked Tian Tian to teach him again, this time helping her fix water pipes as thanks, though Tian Tian’s mother mistook him for a plumber.

Su Mu accompanied Tian Tian to Xingyue Mountain, hoping she would destroy the aircraft and continue making ice cream for him. When the aircraft malfunctioned and nearly hit Tian Tian, Su Mu risked his life to block the danger, but his hand was injured. Tian Tian helped him bandage the wound, and their previous misunderstandings were resolved.

Tian Tian woke up on the balcony, her face covered in mosquito bites. Seeing Su Mu and Mia leave in the car, she mistakenly assumed they were a couple. She later met them on the way to the ice cream shop and tried to change the topic, but it led nowhere. She asked Tang Mumu, the store manager, for advice, who confirmed their closeness.

Su Mu recalled Wang Yanyi's question about Tian Tian and fell asleep without much thought. The next day, Tian Tian woke up, dressed, and left. Su Mu asked her why she hadn't made ice cream for him, and Tian Tian briefly responded before leaving. Mia called, and Su Mu updated her about the flight test and product progress.
