Silky finds himself in the awkward position of being a mail-order bridegroom when he stands in for the rich, girl-shy Cass, but the bride turns out to be a two-timer on a Yukon River boat adventure.

Silky finds himself sharing a jail cell with two miners, one of whom must be guilty of the murder of Nik Stavrous. With the help of Pierre and Marie, Silky upsets everybody's theory, including his own, about the identity of the gold-hungry killer.

Silky inherits the Skookum Sentinel as payoff for a debt and finds that he is the latest victim of a reign of terror. Without help from anyone, he beats the gang at their own game and lures a willing lady to the side of law and order.

Pierre is accused of stealing $300,000 in gold dust when Rocky and the citizens of Yukon City are swayed by the oratory of an itinerant preacher. When his partner is killed, Pierre enlists the aid of a novice to help deliver the miners' gold.

Silky and his partner Harry hold a two-thirds interest in a gold mine with beautiful singer Fay, but for Silky it's a ticket to a lynching. When his partner disappears, Silky is accused of murder by John, the leading citizen of Argyll.
