A high-end realtor is found dead in the luxurious swimming pool of a villa she was listing. As Filiponi and Contance dig into her life they discover that no one really knew the victim. Each answered question leads to a new surprise, and Constance and Filiponi both need to drown out the noise from their own lives to uncover the killer.

Judge Claire Delaunay is found dead at the foot of a cliff, but she did not commit suicide. In shock, Filiponi leads the investigation towards the judge's husband--while keeping his own relationship with Delaunay a secret. But what does the murder have to do with a decade-old hit and run?

Victor Jacquet, the director of a textile factory, has been murdered. Filiponi and Constance first focus on the victim, a singularly authoritarian man preparing to hand over the business to his son, and soon turn their attention to some very tangled family relationships. Is that where a motive will be found? Or is the toxic textile industry to blame?
