Alex Rosner fell in love with LPs early on. His love for records and hi-fi technology led him to become one of New York City's most famous sound engineers, and he soundtracked most of the city's iconic disco clubs during the 1970s.

The 1960s were a turbulent decade in New York City, leading to a revolutionary moment for young Puerto Rican and African Americans. Eddie Palmieri captured that power, angst, and fire in his classic underground album, Harlem River Drive.

The Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.) movement of the 1960s and 70s revolutionised both art and engineering. Watershed collaborations between Bell Labs researchers and avant-garde artists impacted the art world from New York, USA, to Japan.
