A group of scientists based in a remote Norwegian forest discover a rope which sinks into the woods. A rope that seems to have no end. Abandoning all responsibility, they decide to follow it. An adventure that quickly turns into a nightmare.

Episode 1
A team of scientist at an observatory are intrigued when a mysterious rope appears at the edge of the forest. They decide to follow it.
EPISODE 2
Episode 2
People are worried at the observatory and the families of the missing are notified. Along the Rope, the five remaining hikers continue to walk. At the observatory, Ulrik is forced to run the operation while the rescue party intensifies their search.
EPISODE 3
Episode 3
Morel and Rauk try to get Johannes back to the observatory. Joseph continues his search for Leila. In Helligskogen, the rescue teams have given up but Agnes remains convinced that Bernhardt is still alive in the forest and decides to follow the Rope.
