The Spoils of Babylon

Famed best-selling novelist Eric Jonrosh (Will Ferrell) sets the stage for his adapted-for-television epic masterpiece, The Spoils of Babylon. The multi-generational saga of love, lust, greed and war begins with Jonas Morehouse (Tim Robbins) digging relentlessly for oil as his daughter (Kristen Wiig) and adopted son (Tobey Maguire) begin a forbidden affair.

Eric Jonrosh (Will Ferrell) returns with his epic mini-series. War breaks out & Devon (Tobey Maguire) joins the struggle, leaving Cynthia (Kristen Wiig) behind. Another woman threatens to come between the star-crossed lovers.

Devon (Tobey Maguire) and Lady Anne (Carey Mulligan) fall in love, shocking his sister and former lover, Cynthia (Kristen Wiig). Jealousy strikes and Cynthia's actions forever change Devon's life. With nothing left to live for, Devon turns to drugs and poetry. Cynthia may be the only one able to get Devon’s life back on track.

Jonrosh's (Will Ferrell) epic story continues as the growth of the Morehouse oil conglomeration further confuses the relationship and forbidden love between Devon (Tobey Maguire) and Cynthia (Kristen Wiig). Cynthia makes a decision about the company that will change the trajectory of its growth. Devon’s plans for the company clash with Cynthia's and he wages a war against his sister.

The forbidden love between Cynthia (Kristen Wiig) and Devon (Tobey Maguire) has become too much for Cynthia to handle. She visits Devon in his underwater oceanographic institute and comes face to face with Dixie Melonworth (Jessica Alba), a woman after Devon’s heart. Meanwhile, Cynthia's son Winston (Haley Joel Osment) has taken over the family business and sets a plan into motion that could destroy the balance of the world!

Jonrosh's (Will Ferrell) final chapter of the epic mini-series finds Cynthia's (Kristen Wiig) son, Winston (Haley Joel Osment) out to destroy his family and stopping at nothing to get his revenge. A Christmas party brings together all the players: Cynthia, Devon (Tobey Maguire), Winston and the Shah of Iran.
