This Little Show of Mine

Hailey books the largest theatre in town for her show picking a date just three weeks away. She starts to write questionable material, begins to suspect Marjorie may be up to no good, receives a 'pep' talk from her father in England and meets the sexually fluid local conductor (and her mother's last ex) Pavel.

Hailey thinks that she may or may not have suffered abuse at the hands of her older half brother, the Olivier award winning actor Edward Harris. She explains her idea to 'Me Too' him onstage to her agent, reassures her dad she's not suicidal and alarms the neighbours with her LA ways.

Hailey considers whether tap is due for a comeback. She sleeps with the lawn boy, uncovers a low rent plot between Marjorie and Pavel to defraud her mother and starts to doubt if she'll have anything to perform onstage.

Hailey realises booking a theatre with an unwritten show is a poor idea. Her father lets her down by not showing up, her agent dumps her and she descends into madness knowing she has nothing to perform with the date imminent.
