Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars

Feeling crushed under the weight of self-doubt and failure, He Xiang Yong (Jed Chung) makes a desperate wish, based on an old legend: he throws a stone into the sea and wishes that he could disappear. To his surprise, he awakens under the name Zhong Xiao You (also played by Jed Chung), and no one seems to recognize him – except for his friend Wan Zhe (Yu Chieh En), who helps "Xiao You" re-integrate with society. Everything seems to be working as Xiao You had hoped, until Hao Wei (Chu Meng Hsuan), an old friend and former crush of Xiang Yong, comes back into his life. Xiao You and Hao Wei strike up a new friendship, but Xiao You's hidden truth weighs on him, especially as old feelings begin to resurface. This drama was adapted from the novella "Guan Kan Liu Xing De Zheng Que Fang Shi" by Chung Min Ruei.
