Love is Panacea

Brilliant neurosurgeon Gu Yun Zheng (Luo Yun Xi), who comes from a prominent medical family, takes a position on a medical aid team in Northern Africa. There, he meets Su Wei An (Zhang Ruo Nan), a merchant trying to make a quick buck by selling alcohol. Yun Zheng sees Wei An as an immoral opportunist, but he starts doubting his first impression of her after spending more time together. When Yun Zheng discovers that Wei An is a carrier of a rare genetic disease that may be the reason behind her reckless behaviour, he becomes determined to find the elusive cure. Adapted from the web novel “Healer” by Ning Meng Xi Yan, this 2023 Chinese series was directed by Mu Xiao Jie.
