In the spring of 1980, pro-democracy sentiments run high, but Hee Tae shows no interest in the matter.

Myeong Hee expects the blind date to end quickly, but Hee Tae keeps doing things to make the date go unexpectedly.

Hee Tae visits Soo Ryeon unannounced and ends up joining her family, and even Myeong Hee, for an awkward meal.

Hee Tae agrees to get engaged to Soo Ryeon, although it seems as if he wants to provoke Myeong Hee.
