Zhan Zhao Adventures

Huo Linglong, eldest daughter of Linglong Manor, disguises herself as a man and unexpectedly enters a martial arts conflict centered on a stolen treasure. Ge Yunfei dies from poison and leaves behind a mute boy connected to the mystery before dying. The assassins return, convinced the treasure is hidden on the mute boy, and battle Jiao Chaogui and Mu Xiuquan once again. Linglong breaks the Tang Sect's deadly technique and forces them to retreat. Commander Shao Jizu later arrives, identifies Tang Sect poison on the bodies, and seals Xiangyang while pursuing another fugitive. Linglong then meets the mysterious Zhan Rifei, and both realize the other is hiding secrets. Later, Hanshui Palace kidnaps the boy and tries to poison him, only to be defeated by Zhan Rifei's overwhelming martial arts.

Huo Linglong shakes off Yan Ziqing and reunites with Zhan Rifei at Yecha Temple, where they spend the night with the mute boy. They discover the child is the legendary Changhong Jade, a living treasure raised on deadly poison whose blood can neutralize all toxins. Linglong later finds Zhan Rifei poisoned and wounded by Shangqing Sect and mistakenly believes he's evil. Meanwhile, Zhan Rifei remembers how his friend, Liu Hongyi, was killed after uncovering a major case. Jiao Chaogui attacks the temple seeking Changhong Jade, forcing Linglong and Zhan Rifei into battle once more.

After resolving their misunderstanding, Zhan Zhao and Huo Linglong head for the capital but are intercepted by Granny Hanshui, who needs Changhong Jade's blood to complete her demonic technique. Unable to defeat her, Changhong Jade willingly returns to Hanshui Palace to save them. The pair suspect Zhihua originally lured Changhong Jade away to weaken Hanshui Palace. Later, Zhan Zhao's poison flares up, forcing them to hide in an abandoned warehouse, where Linglong discovers he's the wanted man in the pursuit sketches. Zhan Zhao entrusts her with delivering evidence to Prince Hui while he stays behind to face the pursuers. As pursuers close in, Zhong Xiong identifies him as the legendary Southern Hero Zhan Zhao, and a fierce battle begins.

Using a flagpole as a spear, Zhan Zhao battles fiercely aboard a boat while protecting trapped civilians. Ignoring his own injuries, he unleashes Heavenbound Crane again to force Mo Dao back and rescue the hostages. Mo Dao mocks Zhan Zhao for obeying the law and refusing to kill him, only to be struck dead by Yan Ziqing's dart. Exhausted, Zhan Zhao collapses and is taken to a farmhouse. Meanwhile, Huo Linglong escapes her sealed pressure points and crosses the river, but Shao Jizu catches up to her. A young man named Ding Zhaohui appears and rescues her. Together, they kidnap Shao Jizu and demand a hostage exchange at dawn. A hostage exchange at dawn turns into a diversion. While Feng Shao is lured away, Huo Linglong and a mysterious youth in white escape first with Zhan Zhao.

The mysterious youth in white discovers Zhan Zhao is near death and takes him to the Jin family of Tanxi Town for treatment, forcing the family head, Jin Zhenping, to use the rare medicine, Naihe Remedy. Though reluctant, the Jin family eventually saves Zhan Zhao with medicine and acupuncture. Huo Linglong leaves for the capital to deliver the secret letter. The youth later reveals Linglong's identity and helps defend Zhan Zhao from Tang Sect, earning his trust. Zhan Zhao suspects he's Bai Yutang, the legendary White Jade Mouse. Meanwhile, Shao Jizu receives a new mission, while Bai Yutang secretly steals the official seal of Kaifeng Prefecture before leaving.

Zhan Zhao and Huo Linglong arrive at the Ding family and quickly sense something is wrong. In the cellar, they discover the maid Xiaoyun's corpse, uncovering a hidden case from years ago. Ding Zhaohui reveals that his father was murdered, his elder brother was left gravely injured and unconscious, and Yuehua disappeared after clashing with Jing Yiming. Remembering that Zhihua once used Shangqing Sect martial arts, Zhan Zhao begins to suspect a connection between him and Jing Yiming. Meanwhile, Bai Yutang becomes entangled in old grudges and rising conflicts on Xiankong Island, where hidden conspiracies continue to surface.
