Paul Ritter

Actor Paul Ritter was known for his roles on the silver screen. Ritter's career began by acting in comedies like the Thomas Fisher film "The Nine Lives of Tomas Katz" (2001) and "On a Clear Day" (2006) with Peter Mullan and Brenda Blethyn. He also appeared in the TV movie "The Girl in the Café" (HBO, 2004-05). He kept working in film throughout the early 2000s, starring in "Hannibal Rising" (2007) and the Daniel Craig blockbuster action movie "Quantum of Solace" (2008). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "The Hollow Crown" (2012-). He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "The Game" (BBC, 2014-15) and "No Offence" (Channel 4, 2014-), as well as a starring role in the hit sitcom "Friday Night Dinner" (BBC 2009-2020). Most recently, Ritter appeared in "Wolf Hall" (2014). Paul Ritter died on April 5, 2021. He was 54.
