Ken is in need of a therapy session with Allison when his patients put him on edge. Molly prepares for her upcoming driving test.

When Clark lodges a complaint against Ken, Ken must attend a training seminar on bedside manner, and Allison is left to have dinner with his parents.

Ken is approached by members of the staff who don't want Pat to ask them to work Saturdays. Dave is given a new nickname at school.

Molly struggles with a school project asking her to decide what she wants to be when she grows up. A banquet honouring Allison's successful ex sees Ken asked to give a speech, and leaves Molly and Dave with a big question.

Ken decides to plan the perfect redo of his original proposal to Allison on Halloween, but when he gets into a fight with his wife, it's up to Clark to save the day.

Ken tries to explain the dangers of alcohol to Molly when she admits to trying beer at a party. Meanwhile, Allison tries to have fun with Dave.
