Following an eclectic group of dance students in Leeds as they navigate the intense highs and lows of coming of age. Puppy's under pressure as the Chapeltown Collective perform for a place at a national dance showcase. Can she overcome her anxieties?

Puppy hasn't told her best friend Koby that they're competing for the same scholarship. But she can't keep her secret forever. Meanwhile, Liam's mum Siobhan gatecrashes their big night out, sending Liam spiralling.

At a fundraiser for the Chapeltown Collective, the gulf between Puppy and Koby widens, and gossip is flying about Liam and Page. But Puppy gets to see a new side to Liam.

The Chapeltown Collective get a paid gig as backing dancers in a music video. At the shoot, Puppy and Koby are selected to be featured dancers. But while Puppy shines, a jealous Koby shrinks into the background.

It's the final rehearsal before the U-Beat showcase, but Puppy and Koby aren't speaking, and everyone's on edge. The rehearsal descends into chaos as tensions come to a head. The future of the CC is uncertain, and hard truths are told.

Puppy wakes up with Liam, but hurts his feelings by trying to sneak out. Meanwhile, the Chapeltown Collective arrive to find the dance studio locked, with no sign of Erica. It seems the trip to Manchester is cancelled and their dreams are over.
