Bear welcomes a group of survival novices to face a series of arduous journeys and tricky challenges in wild landscapes.

The nine remaining teams must face their fears as they climb to the top of a jagged cliff; one team is eliminated.

Bear challenges the teams to swim to shore from the middle of a bay and navigate waterfalls. However, one team gets left behind.

A doorless helicopter takes the seven remaining teams to the base of a raging waterfall, which they must ascend; the teams rely on Bear for the strength to continue when hunger sets in.

The remaining contestants must cross a rope suspended 100 feet over a gorge; the teams are tested mentally and physically.

The teams face the coldest night yet, and they must join forces to rappel down a cliff; Bear sends one team home.
