The family meets a Confederate soldier in search of diamonds.

Grumpy and Big Alice attack the Marshalls and the Pakuni, who are warring over giant vegetables.

The Marshalls meet Enik, an intelligent talking Sleestak from another time who is also trying to find his way out of the Land of the Lost.
