Contestants build fighting robots to pit against one another in a battle to the death. Amateur and professional engineers must also contend with house robots, who can enter at any time to take out the competitors.

The first battle of series eight begins with Kill-e-crank-e, Nuts, Razer and Terrorhurtz, as a total of eight teams go head-to-head. The last robot standing has the chance to move to the grand-final.

Team Discontructor, Shockwave, Thor, and Tough as Nails go head-to-head in the first battle. A brand-new untested robot causes an uproar when it destroys the competition.

Episode 3
Going into the deadly arena are homemade robots Glitterbomb, Big Nipper, Supernova, and more. These contenders must not only face each other, but also the fierce house robots.
EPISODE 4
Episode 4
An exciting group of powerful competitors battle it out in the arena, featuring Apollo, Kan-Opener, Sweeney Todd, and many more.
EPISODE 5
Episode 5
The arena welcomes one of the most bizarre and tallest robots ever featured on the show. Wielding a huge samurai sword by its side, Gabriel towers over his competitors.
EPISODE 6
Episode 6
Winner robots from rounds one through to five battle it out in the arena. A wild card from the runners up throws a spanner in the works as it tries to overthrow attempts at glory.
