Home bakers from all across Australia are given challenges over a number of weeks in the shed kitchen. The results are judged by a panel of experts, with amusing support from the hosts.
EPISODE 1
Cakes
The first challenge for the bakers is a family-sized signature cake.
EPISODE 2
Biscuits
The bakers are tasked with creating biscuits, including Matt's technical task, Italian cannoli.
EPISODE 3
Choux
For this challenge, the bakers work with choux pastry and create a Paris-Brest as well as a Gateau St. Honore.
EPISODE 4
Pies
The bakers create a range of different pies, including savoury pies and a blood orange meringue pie, showing off their skills.
EPISODE 5
Chocolate
The eight remaining bakers are tasked with baking with chocolate. They cook brownies and a Black Forest gateau.
EPISODE 6
Bread
The seven remaining bakers get baking some bread, including making savoury flat breads and knotted bread rolls.
