The Kicks

Devin discovers that her new school football team has been on a losing streak and is badly in need of a leader to rally the team.

Devin gets nothing but positive feedback from a coach during a tryout, but her parents are worried that her grades will be affected; Tom has trouble fitting in at work.

The members of the Kicks must find a replacement coach when theirs has to leave for a family emergency.

After coach identifies Zoe as a weak link, Devin decides to help Zoe work on her goalie skills; things get complicated when Mirabelle decides to recruit a new goalie.

The poor condition of the field causes coach Rivas to worry about the safety of his players; the Kicks and the boys play for use of the good field.

Devin thinks her bad luck is caused by a lost headband -- until she finds new superstitions and traditions.
