Remembering Franklin's warnings about malfunctioning cars, Ryan and Kory decide to investigate. Dolly tries to get help from other classmates when a malfunctioning school bus puts the kids in trouble.
Behind the villainous Diluk sits Limo, the CEO of Booroong Motors. Understanding the true identity of the Tobot, Limo orders Diluk to lure Tobot into chasing the black van.
Limo realises that Diluk captured his old friend Franklin and goes to Diluk's headquarters; because of all the car malfunctions, people start choosing trusty Booroong cars; Officer Oh takes the previously collected SlugBot to search for the kids.
Franklin returns home with his two sons, and upon finding things a mess, the family decides to clean together; Diluk gets a message from a mysterious woman named Acnee offering a large sum for the rights of Tobot Zero's artificial intelligence.
Acnee's new weapon, the Acbot, comes with a thick instruction manual that Diluk must read; Dolly pleads with the twins to bring the robots to school, but the boys refuse and Dolly faces bullies who believe she lied about knowing the Tobots.
