New student Nina, arrives from America at Anubis House - a spooky old boarding school that is to be her home for the next few years.

Nina accidentally opens a secret panel in the attic; Patricia persuades Mara to help her steal Joy's file.

Patricia reports Joy as a missing person; Jerome continues to stir things up between Amber, Alfie and Mick; Nina and Fabian visit Sarah at the old people's home. Fabian and Nina crack the code of symbols, leading them to a staircase.

Victor rigs a feather after discovering someone has been up there. Fabian and Nina take the wax cylinders to Fabian's uncle to find out what they are.

Nina and Fabian sneak into the attic to listen to the cylinders but they have to abandon their plans. Patricia thinks she sees a ghost.

Mick finds out Mara cheated for him; Amber discovers a secret message behind the wallpaper. Amber and Nina go to the old people's home to visit Sarah.
