Bear takes Marvel superhero Simu Liu into the mountains of the Canadian Rockies in the dead of winter. They are dropped on a mountain top where Bear teaches Simu how to safely descend the mountain and how to prioritize survival needs. On Day 2 Bear sets up the ultimate arctic weather challenge, testing Simu and ending in the duo stripping down and taking a plunge into a frozen lake.

Ashton Kutcher joins Bear in the jungles of Costa Rica. As they traverse through rivers, swamps and jungles, Bear teaches Ashton essential survival skills including how to travel with fire, traverse a mangrove forest, and do a commando crawl. On Day 2 Bear sets up a rope challenge and Ashton must muse the commando crawl skill to cross over a 300-foot-high gorge.
