Single Handed

Jack Driscoll becomes Garda Sergeant in Connemara; his first case is the death of a young woman; Jack's pursuit of the truth dredges up long-buried crimes and pits him against his new Inspector.

After toddler Conal Burke disappears, his mother accuses her estranged husband of snatching him. Driscoll desperately tries to locate the boy and his father before Conal's two violent uncles get involved. Meanwhile, a tribunal investigates past police misconduct by Jack's father.

Jack finds his romance with Dr Maggie Hunter tested as he investigates the sudden disappearance of a two-year-old boy in the wilds of Connemara.

Sergeant Jack Driscoll receives a call to investigate activity on an isolated beach and discovers undercover police operation. Also, Detective Maura Dooley, the reason he was forced to leave Dublin, is part of the undercover team.

Jack struggles with his past as he deals with the case of a troubled delinquent.
