After arriving in the next town, an old friend greets Lawrence cheerfully. But Holo is unsure of their newest companion.

Lawrence is unexpectedly overwhelmed with a huge amount of debt. If he doesn't find a way out of the plight, he could lose more than his business.

Lawrence and Holo devise a plan to relieve their debt and must try to convince the shepherd to take part in the dangerous plot.

Just as it looks like the smuggling plan will be succssful, Lawrence learns the truth about wolves in sheeps' clothing.

Lawrence settles the score with his betrayers.

Holo and Lawrence arrive in a village where the citizens are getting ready for a yearly festival. After Holo pays the price for celebrating a little too excitedly, Lawrence heads out to do some business with the natives.

Hoping to learn more about the road ahead, Lawrence meets with an alchemist who is familiar with the region's myths. Later, Lawrence becomes nervous when he sees how much time Holo is spending with a local merchant.

Conflicts rise between Lawrence and Amarty, who informs the merchant his plan to take Holo as his own.

Lawrence takes action to keep Amarty from completing his objective.

Diana informs Lawrence that she's already made a deal for her pyrite, but her customer has not yet taken ownership of the goods. As Lawrence waits for the situation to progress, he encounters Amarty and Holo.

The price of pyrite is increasing, there's no news from Diana, and Amarty seems to have figured out Lawrence's plan!
